Not all “peppermint shrimp” are the same. Our stock is confirmed Lysmata boggessi—a member of the Lysmata wurdemanni complex that is widely reported in the literature and by practitioners to predate nuisance anemones of the genus Aiptasia under aquarium conditions. We provide top-down identification photos and video of feeding behaviour in real systems for transparency.
